Cheers for the comments lads,to answer a few questions......

Yea Sam it was the engine that was ment for the rado. The shell needed a respray + vrt and no way would i spend that on a shell!!

I only bought the shell Dave so Adam has the wheels {up for sale at the moment} but i have my own set of turbos that might end up on this!?

Havent done much on her in the last week Drew,have the shed fully cleared up and all the shit cleared out so have more space now and a work bench again for doing big jobs

Oh and finished off the rotisserie for it last night and cleared out the engine bay as best i could without unbolting stuff.

Yea Con,i love having stuff to do but give if a few months and we'll see how enthusiastic i am about it

Yeah turbos are fairly nice, dish is always great.
What power level are you expecting? 8v G60s are largely at thier limit at 200ish...will the extra valves take it to 230?

To be honest ive no idea what shes at,at a guess ide say 220-230 but thats a pure guess.

The only limit to an 8v is how much money your willing to spend on it,me being poor its not a good thing

finally went at the engine,

Wont be stripping much more from the engine at the moment, just want to get her onto the engine stand and sort out the mounting for the alternator and power steering pump.
I've borrowed a vr6 alternator from Greg so going to be messing round with mounting that and sorting the belt route for the next while.

Made up a timber rotisserie aswell that the car will be going up onto shortly

Not normally a fan of 5doors but going for a bit of a sleeper with this. Car has had alot of work done to it already and came with a pile of extras so well happy.

Plan is to convert it to hydro clutch,use what i can of the rpm 16v kit and fit everything else i have sitting on the shelf.

Shes gona be bog standard on the outside, standard exhaust, small bumper and not sure about wheels yet.

Other bits done by Murph,
- elec windows.
- all gl cream trim with the black gti trim including black carpets.
- larger servo from 16v.
- mk3 gti tank with in tank pump + fuel filter.
- wishbones, subframes, axle, crossmembers, hubs and tank straps sandblasted and painted with rustbullet.
- front and rear wheel bearings, new rear discs, cacking plates and stub mounting bolts, fitted new mk4 hoses and calipers.
- new tie rods and track rod ends, bottom ball joints and fitted polybushes.
- new H&R Cupkit with new topmounts, bumpstops and dustcovers all round.
- new headlights with Osram bulbs.
