my prob is with the new bolts.....the bolts i have on my wheels are all lock nuts (if u get me).and i like that so its making me think twice.....

 

Its not advisable to have 5 locking nuts holding your wheel on.

The majority of locking nuts are made from a low tensile metal.

A better idea would be to have normal wheel bolts and a good set of locking nuts.

Would you have a price for 20mm thick 5x100 - 5x120 adapters?

its what came with the wheels.......its hard to explane,tere not lock nuts but all need an adapter to get off

The 40mm total track DRA spacers 5x100 to 5x120 are available.

What mm should you be putting a golf gt my wheels are 17 and seem a bit lost in the arches, is there any down sides to them, probably sound like a granny but are they safe yes? Would they cause different handling would i also need to change the wheel nuts yes?

It would be advisable to measure the clearance with your current wheels to the arch. I'd say 10mm all round would be perfect on a MK5 with 17's.

As for safety - all H&R spacers are TUV approved. This means they have been tested to comply with various safety regulations in Germany.

Your handling will not be negatively effected by the spacers.

My mk v has coilovers and H&R spacers all round .I have 20mm on the front and 30mm on the rear without any rubbing on 17 or 18 " rims even with the car running very low .
