Just did a search there, can't believe I'm Yeti number 1 here!!

Well I'm finally back in a Skoda...I really miss my octy vRS

They took the Scirocco away yesterday and replaced it with a brand new Skoda Yeti 1.6TDI Greenline II Elegance.
It's black "pearl" magic (an excuse to charge for black!) with gobi leather interior (read cream/putty) with black floors and brushed aluminium inlay.
As its an elegance spec it gets most things as standard. Leather, cruise control, auto lights, cornering fogs, auto dimming mirrors, sat nav unit (amundsen+), bluetooth.
Only things I ordered were, heated seats, heated washer jets, "Sunset windows" i.e. tinted windows all around the back.

Very happy with it so far only having driven it about 2km!
I'll post up some pics when I get a chance.

QUOTE (Declan @ Feb 7 2012, 10:43 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>i've a soft spot for them my dad bought a new 2.0 TDI last year as the waiting list on the 1.6 was daft.

Best of luck with it

5 months 4 days from order to delivery, put 3-4 weeks of that down to our lease company and their paperwork so say 4 months.
That's quick btw. If you look on Briskoda lads are waiting on average 6 months! and longer if you spec it any way from the norm.
Long time to be waiting on a car if you're paying cash out of your own pocket imho. I wouldn't have waited that long if I was paying for it.

but i think thee yeti are cool. The slide doors are so handy, cant see why they arent used more here. Over in the states a load of the stuff has the slide doors, no more slapping off others in car parks.

Cool

Please say its a 2.0TFSI? Personally the 2.0TDI vRS shouldn't be called a vRS it should be called an FR or something, like the SEAT Leon

Will start a war with a comment like that here

BTW the Yeti hasn't got sliding doors? I think you're thinking of a Skoda Roomster which are pretty fugly. The Yeti is just about hanging on to the OK side, nearly about to fall off into ugly land

Its perfect for a young family which is why I got it.
We still have the A3 sportback so I'll be modifying that quite a bit now

PS pics later today

Nice Yeti, its a 'does what it says on the tin' kind of car.

I'm seriously thinking on the Bigfoot, if they'll ever get around to making it.
