Forgot to mention once I have an idea on quantity's I'll be getting prices on quaife and peloquin from other suppliers too just to let everyone see/decide where we'll be getting the best value.

Only reason I've gone with regal so far is they've been the most accommodating and the fact that I've heard great things about the wavetrac's.

I was more interested in a Quaife (or equivilant) Torque sensing diff . Are these diffs just and an open or full lock? i didnt pickup on it from the site

Regal are pricey enough compared to the US price aren't they. Be interesting to see what discount they come back with.
The other ones I was looking at were the Kaaz and plated one from Bildon

Bildon also do wavetrac bildon

 

I've been chatting to another crowd that does quaife (thanks Bernard), these work out fairly cheap from the states the only worry would be the import duty.

Here is what he quoted anyway

1-4 LSD: $694.95
5-9 LSD: $20 off each = $674.95
10+ LSD: $40 off each = $654.95

Plus around $90 each for shipping.

 

@J-GTI any idea what the duty would be?

 

Not offering much of a discount are they? Less than 3% for 5-9 units.

Was thinking that myself but then again the margin on them mightn't be all that big either?

 

I bought parts on UK group buys before and discounts were 15-20% off retail, more if buying direct from the manufacturer.

Sorry, I didn't word that right, what I mean is when you look at the likes of mjmautohaus charging $824 maybe the above company that I got the price from doesn't have as much margin on them. That's already a fair difference in price IMO.

I am still in talks with a good few companys so anyone that manages to beat previous prices will be posted on this thread.

 

Actually, a quaife for less than 600euro is good enough...aslong as duty stays away! Quaife themselves want 585stg +VAT

It usually works out at 21% VAT plus import duty, so 30% of the cost is roughly how much it is to bring it in

Ya his spot on, I got a Perlequin 02M on off him, think it worked out at €700ish but the Perlequin ones include fitting kits. Talk to him about the customs situation too!

 

Sent him an email there, will see what he says about customs but I doubt he'd be able to do much with a fairly large order.

 

Peloquin from the above lad is going to be whatever price is listed on the peloquin website but it will include shipping, so if it's listed on their site at $875 that's what well be paying including delivery.

Only the peloquin's include a fitting kit, all the rest would require one at extra cost.
