I see that in Germany that they are selling a Passat "Alltrack"

There's no listing on VW UK as of yet

edit: - It's due to be on sale in UK in April 2012

I would presume that it would share the chassis of the Superb/Octavia 4x4

Its actually nice... I was thinking something around €35k myself. I take it the Irish spec would be lower as per normal.
The old B5.5 one was very plasticy.

The current Passat 2.0 highline 4 motion is around 37.5k so I'd say the alltrak will be 40 - 42k.
