oh thats a toughy,normally i would opt for the W8 wheels but those Phoenix rims are sweet!! i would go with the Phoenix.

The Phoenix wheels look very tidy...
but...
the W8 wheels will look very nice when refurbished...

I'd say go with the phoenix wheels...i think they mite suit your car better.

Phoenix's, the W8's look like cheap split rim wheels with the bolts on show, tacky IMO.

Phoenix all the way - THe madras are bit to fussy IMO - I've seen phoenix on a B5.5 wagon and they look really well.

Another angle:
phoenix wheels are approx 470 sterling landed to your door.
w8s I think will not fetch big money given their condition.

Phoenix need tyres, W8s do not but what condition are they in.

Based on above W8s appear to be the cheaper option even with a full refurb.

So its just down to what you like. IMO Phoenix are a safer, more conservative wheel. W8s are more sportier but riskier.

If it was me, I'd go with the riskier W8s as the potential price difference if realized will mitigate the risk, get them fully refurbed and if I didn't like result just sell them on.
