Gaz gold seem to be the best on a budget, a lot of them used in the UK.

Your version of budget is nowhere near my version....

Gaz gold are about €1000 and InTrax 1k2's are €2500ish

for any good custom made racing coilovers your looking a 2-3k but thats only for 2 way adjustable.
if you want 3 way remote reservoir coilovers be prepared to pay 4-5k

it all depends what level of a track car you want

be warned if you put in shite like jom they will not last and the car will handle like a pig, its not all about making it as hard as possible, if you do you will be bouncing off curbs and lose alot of traction. track work is very harsh and the body of the damper gets very very hot.

Speak to a company called Aurok in Alton, Hampshire - worth a google search.

Small company, but they are the Ohlins daddies in the UK and used to build the setups for our race cars.

Speak to them and see what they can manage on your budget. Eliminate any forum bollocks and speak to the boys who genuinely know what they are talking about.

infact here

site looks like f all, but just believe me, they are just awesome at what they do.

DC5's and EP3's

I had a set of Ohlins 3-way twin-tube, remote res jobbies in the Civic. Toby at Aurok was keen on redesigning the wheel with respect to the whole ARB setup.

Basically we ended up with a third reservoir front and rear with nitrogen between two diaphragms. This was adjustable aswell to allow for tweeking of the amount of allowed roll. The nitrogen took out the harshness of transferring fluid.

They made up some seriously gucci kit for us.

You could also try EXE-TC, they would be known very little outside of the WRC world, but their stuff is incredible. I unfortunately sold my set of EXE-TC's (ride height adj only) a year or so ago. They were made for a race series of DC2's with fixed dampening and rebound. But they were a work of art that retailed at over ÂŁ4k a set.

If all of those are out of the question then i guess you could go to Nitron - they built the chassis setup on our Exige http://www.nitron.co.uk/
