nice motor, look forward to seeing it, when is it making it debut?

P.s. stay in school!

No but seriously, concentrate on the exams!
It will probably let you have more money in the future for more cars and more mods!

Cheers mate. Not sure where she'll make an appearance... I'm mad to go to gti inter, but havent a clue who to talk to to get involved or that... I've never been to any of the meets but i'll be on the watch for some local ones, particularly after the leaving during the summer...

yup never build what you can buy! a 2.0TFSI conversion would be a pian in the ass,and a 1.8T coversion would be silly.

I say throw a few quid at it in terms of mods and then worry about smething with a bit more poke for your next car.

As for meets i would say start with one of the kildare meets which arent too far from you, that way you get to know a few faces and as a result the bigger meets aren't so duanting.

would the 2.0 convo be completely outrageously hard??

thanks for the advice. i'l prob take u up o that.. where are they usually on in kildare??

Toughers between naas and newbridge - right up the N9 for you join up with the N7 and then leave the N7 at the first off ramp, last exit off the roundabout over the bridge and head for newbridge! keep an eye on the "sceond kildare meet" thead.

no it would be outrageously stupid in my opinion, that engine wouldent pull piss, why go to all that trouble? why not just buy a 2l gti? now you could drop in a v6 turbo now that would be worth doing.

are you talking about a mk4?

thats kinda why i mentioned it. the 2 litre isn't really rated as an engine. i'd say with the nice mods on yours its worth more then a 2.0 gti. i like your thinkin though with doin somethin a bit different but theres a reason people do 1.8t conversions instead of the 2.0. look on ed38 and i'm sure you'd get some ideas. IMO though i'd think of sellin wat you have and buyin somethin from england. best of luck watever choice you make.

seems to be some confusion as to whether you mean the 2.0 GTI engine from the MKIV that was available in the UK and wouldn't pull the skin off custard or the 2.0TFSI form the MKIV GTI that would be a nighmare conversion !

Welcome aboard - some tastefull stuff going on there - LED lights wouldn't be my bag - have you looked at Hella tails ? or even standard GTI versions on that dark colour would look very well.

With reagrds to your question on white wheel centres - To jap for my liking ! Black cenres with a polished lip however could look very well - or even colour coded ? do the door handles as well ! at the stage you are at it's the small changes that will make all the difference

Best of luck with the exams !
