want to change the wheels and exhaust system but unsure as to what wheels to get.

Lovely clean mk2, I used to have the same wheels on my golf when I first got it, wheel choice is always a tough one, maybe go for something away from the norm.

next thing is to get a set of wheels as i said and i'll see what happens after that.
flat out cleaning it these nights for the weekend.

well here is a few new pictures of the mk2 that is sitting on g60 wheels
found them on a g60 passat that was stuck in a gate way
got them refurbished and fitted four new 195 50 15 tryes on them
also got all new centre caps from vw
what ye think?

goin to give the mk2 an overhaul,moved to our new garage so loads of lifts so here it is
want it out and nct done for the long summer days
any idea's or suggestions let me know

nct tested and got classic insurance also
jobs i done was

its got,
mk3 subframe
mk4 rear calipers
new mintex brake pads all round
bigger brakes up front with new brake disc's
new battery tray from vw
polly bush all round(got from keith)
rear dust cover with bolts and seals
all manifolds gaskets from vw
two track rod ends
two inner tie rods x2
engine and gear box mountings
steel brake pipes replaced
petrol filter
exhaust hangers
petrol tank brackets(could only get two of them)
wax oil'ed the whole car
probably forgetting something but
here it is

thats it for now

 

If ya dont mind me asking where did you get the battery tray i know ya said vw but do you have a link or anything to the place?
