what engine code is the van, i presume the crashed one is code AJM

 

i've just done something similar with my bora. went from 1.6 to 1.8t. i ended up using the full 1.8T loom. it was more straight forward than splitting looms. also there is difference's between 2001 and 1999 so you might have to use everything from the 130.
you will also need the convience control unit and the window control modules for the doors as well.

 

wa the 130 going into cars in 00?? I thought it was 01? Whats the engine code on the donor car?

AJM was in the 00 6 speeds generally

AJM 115bhp was in the 00 6 speeds generally

 

the 00 and most 01 6 speeds are pd115 with engine code AJM... some 2001 and all 2002 have a pd130 6 speed with engine code ASZ

 

The year doenst make any odds lads, I looked at a 2002 highline with the older non PD 110 engine, And it was from the factory.

 

that could easily happen, old stock just wasent bought until later, I saw a mk1 octy in a 2009 reg a while back? wtf like! I knew the AJM was in the 00's just didnt think of it, I thought the OP had been told it was a 130 and didnt want him to get fobbed of with a non pd remapped yoke, seen it so many times it unbelievable. It is 6 speed and the non pd's never had them IIRC so I presume its a 115 PD. If you have both cars side by side with everything you need I dont see it being to difficult tbh.

 

Im pretty sure that Skoda ran both the mk1 and mk2 Octy in tandem actually. the mk2 came in in '05 and ive plenty of '06,'07,'08 and '09 mk1s. Wierd eh?

ye i think there called the octavia tour, there prob still available, but they come with pd engines

 

The doner is a 00 gttdi and is suppose to be six speed (unless the gear knob was changed) there is recardo in her as well, I get the car Saturday I know more then. So any more thoughts on the conversion is this going to be a lot of work? I have the engine dropped out of the van so I start at the dis-assemble of the wiring it might be easer to use the whole loom???

Any one out there done something similar
