Wasn't the original point of remote start to warm up the car? If you want that why not put in the electric auxiliary heater or go the whole hog and put in the webasto...

Many a morning last winter i bloody wished i had it. But never keep a car long enough to warrant complicated electronic system installations.

AFAIK the NCTman doesn't like these systems fitted to vehicles.

Never thought of it like that. Tend not to have high security motors myself.
