After 4 months of painfully attending the Stilorgan meets carless, I have 2 months to go before I am back on the road. With almost a year of gathering new parts, I am awaiting the final piece of the puzzle before work begins on the new wagen.

I am still rockin this beauty

The Porsche handles are for sale, the chinese style are going to be painted. Although the Porsche 1's are the nuts, it not really the look I'm going for.

I would have washed it and put the centre caps on if I'd known you were going to post the pictures up Kevin

I reckon it is low enough, the stretched 45 profile tyres make the gap in the arches look bigger than normal which is why it doesn't look that low.

It will probably drop another 5mm or so when the coilovers settle in anyway so that should be low enough for you then anyway

Another thing I just thought of, which order do you want the gauges in, or do you mind?

George, does the RSs rub as it is? ie I assume it could go much lower only for RS width restriction?

Looks well, lower it though kev like a good chap. Actually, get George to do it for you, never know what'll happen with you and spanners!!!

Will drop down after xmas for a butchers! ;-)

I asked Kevin how low he wanted to go with it when he dropped the car down to me. He kind of said whatever you think yourself, just have the wheels sitting nicely in the arches. So me being somewhat sensible, I decided on the height in the pictures above. I didn't realise that Kevin was of the Bohall school of thought, i.e. if the car is driveable it is too high

I'll rectify the situation at the weekend

@Mike the wheels don't rub at all as it stands. The front arches are already rolled though. The rear Konis are 1 turn back from the stiffest setting. It could go a lot lower with narrower rims, but where's the fun in that

As George said, the car should drop another 5mm when they settle. when that happens Ill get out the spanner and check out the situation, under somebodys supervision of course. I made an arse of them the last time I went near them. although, I would like it lower
