In a mk3 golf the motor is in the boot ( im assuming a vento is the same), drivers side behind the carpet turrent thing. water damage/dampness ruined my one in my first mk3 and I leave the one in my current golf disconnected as its not really needed in a 2dr ( and it dosent work

got it sorted today the motor was all damp so got a new one

it's working perfect
