If you drove one I'd think you would change your mind in a similar way many people think Golfs are too understated and plain. Personally I prefer understated.

I think the problem with most cossies is that they got diluted with all the look-a-likes and tarted up models that emerged by wannabee owners. The 4 door version was a real sleeper and super fast to drive. Unfortunately the blue oval has lost its way IMO over the years. Still none are as spirited as the MK2 RS2000 - had a few MK2s, sold them and now want another one. Obviously not as quick as modern motors but still competitive and fantastic fun to drive being RWD.

)

Also, have BBS any suitable wheels that I won't have to bate the grease caps to fir them on?

Also how can I get the brouquets into the petrol tank

And my vagdriver.net number plates haven't arrived yet must get onto Trev about that......a couple of pop rivets should get them onto the back of the mower......although my sat nav, radar jammer and stereo keeping interfering with each other (not in the biblical sense) and keep switching my neighbours microwave on and off at random intervals....but at least I sorted my mice problem
