people who have changed the seats in a B6 a4...

 

I have done it, it's not that bad! Push the back part towards the back of the car and then just pull the guides out. The only way to get them out. Try hard, your hands will be sore, I know that's the only way to go...

so lets say I put my knee just bellow the headrest guides and push as hard as I can towards the boot... then pull the guides out... hopefully that will work...

Yep, thats what Ive done and it worked, its a bit of a pain. Some go out easier than others but u'll be alright. Good luck

your an absolute genius Matty... they popped out handy when I pushed in with my knees... leather seats fully fitted
