Hi,

went to take the rear seats out of my A4 last night and managed to get the seat part out fine but couldnt get the back part out...

I have done a quick google and figured that I need to get the headrest guides out... but for the life of me I cant figure out how... Hynes manual says to put a screwdriver down the side of it but that didnt work for me...

has anyone done it?? any tips or tricks that I missed out on??

Cheers,
Martin

I have done it, it's not that bad! Push the back part towards the back of the car and then just pull the guides out. The only way to get them out. Try hard, your hands will be sore, I know that's the only way to go...

cheers Matty ill give that a try...

so lets say I put my knee just bellow the headrest guides and push as hard as I can towards the boot... then pull the guides out... hopefully that will work...
