My wheels are 16x7.5" et26 with 20mm spacers either side on the back and they rub like crazy. The arches would have to be rolled and possibly pulled for them to work.

i wont be putting spacers on, was it rubbing before spacers were on?? a friend has an arch roller so i can roll them. i want to leave it original without pulling out the arch!! maybe i could use a different off set!...

 

I had it lower before I spaced them so it was rubbing even more then. It depends how low you go. I seriously need to roll my arches.

any1 else using 9j 16" rims on mk3 golfs/vento's?????? what tyres to use?

 

i have 9j 16 (cant remember the et) on the back of my vento lowered with rolled archs an rubs a good bit but you get used to it

id get used to the bit of rubbing!!! once its drivable the most id have in it be 3 people!!!

 

well i use mine as a daily dont really carry anyone in the back, here is a pic of mine you could go with more strech on the rear to get lower
