Check your owners manual, it should tell you how to do it with a sequence of ignition key turns and holding of the mileage reset button.

 

Problem with doing it manually is that it will then revert to fixed interval servicing. So if you have it on longlife intervals and want to keep it that way then don't reset it manually.

cheers neilo tried the method that was in the owners manual however it didn't seem to work
ignition off
press and hold the reset miles driven
ignition on
turn the reset to the right

just didn't take for me

 

Is it old new fabia?
Theirs two ways on the old one......
key off,push button on right of dash and hold.
key on,should say oil,
Hold it until "---" comes up then leave go and twist clockwise.
insp might come up and jus press in and hold for another 10-15 seconds

no its the new new fabia no oil or inspect

when i turn the reset CW just the clock time changes
have reset them before on 04 models no prob
this just dosn't seem to be taking for me

 

Press and hold the button on the right then switch the ignition on, spanner will appear on the dash, release button on the right and click the button on the left to the right

only one reset button on the dash
there isn't 2

cheers geo totally agree however can't even seem to get it to reset manually
using the combination ignition off hold reset(mileage trip) ignition on turn reset cw ignition off

 

Sorry, hold button and switch on ignition, spanner shud stay on constantly then release button and twist button to the right and hold till the spanner dissapears, try that

 

Some of the newer shape one wont reset manually,
Must use the computer
