As above.

Part No's

Brake calipers: 895615123/895615124

Carriers: 447615125

I want to upgrade my 256mm 16v setup (on an 8v) to a G60 setup or better.

I was going to do this mod on my mk2 and bought calipers and carriers and researched it but ended up selling the S2 setup and putting on a G60 setup instead.

They will fit ok but if you just bolt up the carrier to the hub then the pad will be sitting in slightly too far and will overlap the inner edge of the disc surface area as the S2 uses a 278mm disc. What I was going to do was file out the holes in the carrier to allow it to move out the extra 2mm.

Think I might have a picture of the overlap here somewhere.

It's a decent upgrade but not as easy as it seems, you may have to get a new master cylinder for the twin piston calipers, the G60 upgrade is far more straight forward and the pads are almost half the price!

G60 fronts with mrk iv rears is the best bet for a 16V.

Yeah starting to think I might just go with G60 upgrade.
