yip but you will need to change the tyres. Mk4 has too large a profile.

They are Avus wheels. 15" with a 195-65-15 tyre on a mk4. They were never fitted on a GTI in Eire.

You will have to stick a 195-50-15 on it I reckon.

 

Did they not come in 16s as well? I'm nearly sure I've seen them on a beetle in 16 inch?

 

I'm 99% sure that they only came in 15s. They came on early GTIs, 98/99 & on the GT TDI Golf too in the UK

We got the Montreal I & II here on the GTIs/TDIs

 

yeah they are 15's, ah ill get tires no probs, there is a german partworn guy local to me, i could even swap the tires with him

there was a 16" 6-spoke one on the beetle i think

 

geo,there was avery similar 16" 5 spoke on the beetle and bora 1.8t but it was more dished,the avus 1 was flat.trevor is bang on with tyre sizes as usual

 

Friend of mine has them on a mk3 gti but they dont look right.

How about a set of A3 pepper pots,they look very well when polished.

I saw them on a Mk3 and they where painted matt black, looked class.

 

I have a choice of 16" bora alloys now, what do they look like i cant find a pic of them
