Personally a car having a clifford alarm is a reason NOT to buy it for me. And I know quite a few people who are of the same opinion. Just not worth the hassle. If its a mkIV it cant be robbed without the keys anyway.

And some of us aren't i'v had the full works Clifford for the last 5 years even tough it outta my old car never gave me any shit, yeah they can be a pain butting in codes all the time. But the hole point of having the Clifford for me is that anyone can rob your car with the keys if you have my keys you still cant rob mine!

I know GAFF had a good look around at Clifford lately so he mite fill you in on dealers around!

I had a look alright, there seems to be only a hand full of people doing them around Dublin. I think there was posts on here before with details.

As I said its a matter of opinion, I personally cant stand them and wouldnt let one near my car. I would much rather spend the money fitting a tracker. You have had a good experience with them so stick with it.
As you said you sometimes cant even start the car with the keys which can just be irritating.

My Clifford doesn't have any fancy starting options, just proximity, autolock and total closure. The ignition wiring on a MKV is too tight to start messing with apparently.

It cost me half of what it should and it works perfectly.

You don't need any closure device once the windows close when you do it with the key in the door! I've just had it done. Now when I press the flip key everything closes sunroof and all! And it wasn't a feature on the alarm it's just a matter of wiring the alarm to do it. . .
