Which Vw And Audi's Have The Quick Steering Rack?

So I know R32's and S3's had the quick steering racks, but need specifics for calling scrapyards.

From searching Im pretty sure 100% of all S3's (225 or 210) would be fine, and all MK4 R32 Golfs, and then some TT's.

Does anyone know if its ony the 225 Quattro TT that will do, or will a 180 Quattro TT do , or what about a standard 180 FWD TT? Just seems to be much more of these about being broken than S3's and R32's.

Any help appreciated.

The Leon Cupra r has a quick rack and the TT225 does too BUT I would suggest that when you go to see/buy a quick rack you bring a vice-grips or similar and check that it is 2.7 turns lock to lock. Any more and it's not the quick rack.
I got caught out on buying one and then went to see about four or five so called quick racks before getting an actual quick rack.

Also, on the net some people make it sound like the quick rack is amazing compared to the standard rack. It's great for the first two days and then you get used to it!
Good idea if your standard rack needs replacing though.

Cheers, it's actually to replace a leaking rack in a cupra r, so need the quick one.

I read that's it's all the Quattro TT's that have the quick rack, as opposed to just the 225, do you know if this is the case?
Great idea on checking, thanks for that. I assume it's 2.7 turns from lock to lock. I know the standard one is 3.5 or something so should be easy enough to tell if it's still in the car.
