I personally wouldn't go near them with a BARGE POLE, the paint flaked off mine after a while and after they were redone the Laquar came off again (the paint underneath was still smooth so wouldn't stick). Get them sandblasted and powder coated, a lot better value as you'll end up getting them re-done.

I got a number for a guy called Paul 0598623456 who's in Crookstown, I think they are called Macspower or something like that (on the way to Carlow I think). I was going to get my wheels re-done and never bothered. I got the number off guys from the Subaru club who said he's good (maybe someone else can comment).
Don't quote me on this but someone mentioned they take the tyres off and send then to some place in Carlow, I did contact these direct but lost the name and number, anyway unless you can get the tyre removed yourself its as cheap to go through Paul.

I think it worked out about 40 Euro for sandblasting and coating plus 10 Euro for Laquar.

As I say I never got it done there but was planning to but my plans changed.

Let me know how you get on.

I'm not 100% sure but I think a few days.
Btw would a set of Oct vRS wheels be of any use to get you by for a few days ? Thread is minimal

I got an RS4 replica repaired at Collins Engineering in Bray - they did a good job - fixed a dent in the inner lip and touched up some small scuffs I had on the outer face for 80 euro... I'll thinking about getting the remaining 3 wheels refurbed now...
