Just wondering what size tyres that I can get. I currently have a set of 16's on my MkII and its 40mm lowered. At the moment it has a set of 195/40's on there but the ride is just too harsh. How much bigger could I go on the tire without raising the susp. height?

185 55 r15 is the standard size, the closest rolling radius for a 16" tyre is 195 45. See the link i've put up as a sticky.

Is it the tyres that are making it harsh or the suspension. What make of suspension have you got.
