Try cleaning with a damp cloth first to remove excess smoke dirt then some fine wire wool then polish with autosol to finish the job off.

I think some of the guys here have used a sealer after that but never done that myself so maybe someone else can commetn on that.

 

i found autosol metal polish worked well on the leon!

 

Gunk engine degreaser is quite good to.

 

i use metal polish on mine and it brings it up very well.

Use Megs NXT metal polish on mine and an all purpose sealer after that,the sealer never lasts though due to the heat burning it off.
