Was just wondering what came first for other members?

Interests in Cars, then VAGs then found VAGdrivers.net?

Or Cars, then found VAGdrivers,net then fell for VAGs?

It was Cars>VAGdrivers.net>VAGs for me anyway!

You might need a lot more options there Mo. I got a 1.6D golf in secondary school and Im pretty sure the first thing I went fixing on it, led me to yahoo'ing (ya there was once such a thing) help online. Found the vage club for a good few years and then here. Its like a mini evolution!

 

Cars since i was a kid, Loved the early GT5's, GT turbos etc when i was really young! Then in 2002 i was 15 at the time I saw my first anni golf (i had no idea what it was at the time) and that was it! had to have one! which i eventually did!

So in 2008 i got a highline 3 door PD130 golf (couldnt afford an anni at the time) got talking to Sherlock and Mark and they directed me to the site in nov 08.

July 2009 i got my hands on my anni

And sold it before heading to oz

 

Yeahh the options are a bit narrow truth be told! Was just wondering how people came to like cars and find their way onto the site!

 

vage led me here

 

Cars then 2 mk1 jetta coupes on the cover of Retro Cars mag led me to get a jetta which i posted on everyfordireland where xr2central pointed me here but i initally found it hard to use so i forgot about it for a while
Came back to sell the jetta and never left

 

Cars in general- Bought my Mk5- Vagdrivers

 

I was into cars first, used to read mp and other magazines like that. Found a PVW when I was about 16 and forgot about mp etc, have been into vag cars since. I joined VWvortex and was told about Vagdrivers on there.

In that order.
Always had VW

 

Cars > Vags > ns dubs > vagdrivers
In order ,mk3 golf 1.4 > vento 1.9 > polo gt > mk2 golf gti > mk3 golf pd130
I only ever had volkswagens

 

Always had the interest in cars, it was when I was thinking getting one of my Golfs remapped I knew nothing about the subject and couldn't afford for it to explode so spoke to Joe Power who directed his forum on here for feed back and info. Been here since!!!

 

I was into VAG's since 12 years of age at least. Then after having 3 VAG cars my self searched for VW clubs in Ireland and found this back in 2009 even thoe I was looking for one like this for a long time I was absolutly suprised that there was a VAG forum in Ireland since 2005.

cars in general, first car was 02 bora when i was 18 then prob 15 cars later in the mk3 gti and a quick google for vw owners club brought me to this addictive site

I got the smell of some vag somewhere so I said I'd check it out, you wouldn't believe me disappointment when I signed up to a sausage fest

Vag cars defo came first.

The only cars that where and are in my house are vag.. I remember being brought to school in a old jetta until it got robbed.. Then there was a lovely red audi 80 we had for years and years.

The old lad then got a lovely 04 audi a4 convertiable 3.0 v6 quattro.

Ive had 4 mark 4s and counting, had a fling with a sti but never again that ended in tears

When I was 13 or so my father bought a crashed 96 passat and he reapired the whole car to perfect condition in a small pokey shed, I helped him and I then learned how to drive in that car, well between that and a carina, We replaced that with a 99 passat, what a gorgeous car that was, I was always into cars because my father was, then I started working in a garage at 16 and there was a 16v mk2 gti being rebuilt at the time and I fell in love with that car, I came close to buying it last week actually

, Then my first car was a 1 litre Ibiza, great car! So it kind of stuck I suppose,

I came across Vagdrivers back in 06 when my old boss mention something about some dispute on the VAGE site and a group of members had set up their own site i.e Vagdrivers! But we wont talk about that dispute could be opening a can of worms there

 

always loved cars from an early age
parents got a gti
then i went and bought a mk3 for my first car and vagdrivers has been my home since!
so helpful during the mk2 build

 

Had an interest in cars from I could understand the different shapes etc! Took a more knowledgable approach on different brands about 13/14. When I was looking for my first car, based on forum reading etc and peoples reviews experiences I went with the golf, found most my reading material over on UK-MKIVS.net, and one day a random post was seen by tossy (Shane) and he pointed me to here, which was the beginning of the end haha!
