Were To Get Stainless Steel Exhaust Fixed

Have a crack in the middle box , and dont want anyone to "butcher" it

Oh i taught you had it off the car. Ill check and see have we a small bottle of argon in work tomorrow. If so i could probably head over to you and ave it done in under 5 mins. If you want to pm me your number ill give you a shout at dinner time tomorrow and let you know.

, Yesterday danny_mk1 told me that u dont need fancy Tig or special skills to weld that and any garage should do it so I got it welded today after work in a local place , dunno if its a right job , they used mig and said they did a good job on it ..... well looks not very clean to me but at least car is not that noisy anymore

Looks a little rough alright. Looks like they used a mild steel wire to fill it. Itl do the job but will rust. Maybe buy some galvanising spray (bout 6-7 euro at a hardware shop) and give it a dart. Wont fully stop at rusting but will slow down the rusting and tidy up the weld at the same time.

Ah , I had a feeling that they wouldnt do it 100% right, pity that I couldnt give u a shout last nite, anyway thanks for advice I will get thay spray for sure !
