Do you have it set to recircleate the air. If there's no fresh air coming in then the windows wont clear. But if its like mk4's the car wont let you recircleate the air when its pointed at the windscreen anyway. Running the aircon will help loads as it dehumidifies the air going in

5 min job on the Mk4 changed mine 2 weeks ago,can't see the mk5 being any different.

more than likely you have the air on recirculation, also give ur windows a clean with screen wipes or something.

I'll change the pollen filter tomorrow to be on the same side, surely theres a bought in consort or halfords?

went to consort today and got one for 19euro, not bad! I took the old one out and it was just black and full of dirt, now hopefully the visibility issue will be fixed. Even today when I was driving I couldnt see a thing through them. I have to look out a small gap from my windscreen

Do you have air con or non air con?

Also giving the inside of your window a good cleaning will help.

I have air con. Ill give them a good clean. If the change of pollen filter and a good clean doesnt work, I dont know what else to try

 

I must do this too. My windows have been fogging up very badly lately. Came back to the car one day and mine was the only car fogged up on the road.
