i know a good few people were up for this when i spoke to them at castlewellin so dont be shy,it would be great to get people out at this and see what our cars can do!!!! this would be the first Vagdrivers track day to (i think)

I think this is a great idea and fair play to Shane and Paul for taking on the organising of it.

I can't commit to this at this stage but I would suggest that the international circuit is worth the extra money.

Id say it would be okay to bring a non Vag track car as id say paul will want to bring the 172,just waiting for paul to come back to me on it,it might be the case that we keep it vag and see how numbers go.

I would be up for this, subject to having something suitable for the day. Wouldnt really be much fun in an X5 or a Touareg, but if I have something rwd and quickish I`ll be there.

I'd be interested, I've done a few track days in recent years, in minis and BMWs.... would like to give the Mk3 a run.... new brakes first I think

Its early days I suppose, but its usually a good idea to run "sessions" in the first hour to give newbies or the nervous type in their 08s some track time to acclimatise, then go open.... in a road/ mild track prepped car you really should only be doing 15 minutes/10 lap sessions unless you've a strong tow rope!!!

This is me, last year in our 1966 mini , its only 850cc..... and it was eh, wet.

as geo said above the International track is well worth the extra money to drive.

Generally with these days you just have to get a driver to put your name down on guest list and then you can come along and do pit crew er I mean spectate for the day
