Vag Event 2013 - Convoy Though Europe

Well lads!

Myself and a few mates came up with a brilliant idea of going to the Vag Event 2013. Of course it is not 100% yet but if we are to go, we need to start organising everything early enough.

Vag Events are held in Poland every year, after watching the videos on vimeo.com I've noticed that the standard is very high! Have a look at previous years:

2009:
2010:
2011:

The show usually takes place at the end of June/beginning of July.
Of course it is too long of a drive to go to the show and come back the next day, it would have to be joined with a week holiday or something.

If we could get a few people to go, I can organise the convoy and the hotel near the place as well. The show is held in Zerkow, Poland and we are talking about 2000km one way, I know it is a long drive and a lot of money but can you imagine the faces on all the organisers when 20 cars pull in with Irish regs

Has anyone ever gone to any Vag Event?

Would anybody be up for it? A bit of sight seeing and a bigggggg road trip!

Sounds like a plan not far off the main direction anyway, if we were to go to Nurburgring, the route will look like this:

DementedPaddy drove over there last year I think, there's a thread on here somewhere about the trip.

Would make a serious road trip, but you would want to take a good bit of time to enjoy all the sights along the way if you were going over.

Dementedpaddy took in Inters on that trip too.

Is anyone flying over ? That would be cheapest option ( 4 people , flight to Poznan , rent a car , book hotel , see the show , night clubs , polish women = win )

As ussual im gonna be there from friday morning till late sunday afternoon shooting another video with loniek

I was watching a Wolfsgruppe video there and I spotted some Irish reg cars in it. Did this go ahead in the end? It's something I was considering myself for next year, so am looking for any information possible from people who done it.
