Just to make you aware if you are around Louth/Meath area over the next few weeks, the Traffic Corps have just recieved a Subaru Forester, Wine in color and is unmarked. Its fully loaded with lastest gadets.

A unmarked bike is also on its way...

I believe they have 12 in all. Spoke to one of the lads who got the training in one. Even though they are a bit higher up; they stick to the road. I will find out were they all the same colour. Most of them still prefer the Mondeo because they have power and are easier to handle. They had a lovely unmarked maroon bike here in Galway until someone pulled out in front of it. Its always handy to know what they are driving but I hate the thoughts of them driving around in the Puntos... scary. They deserve strong cars for safety. From now on you will start to see more Motorbike Cops too. Weather is getting better.

Myself & BPM were going up North a few weeks ago when a unmarked Mondeo went by (we were under the limit), loads of aerials on roof. We headed on up the road and took the slip road. When we got to the other side of the bridge on the on ramp he came back down and sat behind us for a while.
At that stage I slowed it down a bit, 60ish on motorway

I would imagine so, you are entitled to their name and badge number anyway.

They would have to have some way of identifying themselves or else you would have no way of knowing if it was just some twat having a laugh.

Your not meant to drive in the bus lane on the N11

Wine one was outside the Garda station in Nenagh again last Saturday. I reckon they will haunt the Nenagh By-pass now that the new penalty points are in!

For the motorway no doubt!!!!! When are the authorities going to realise that even though they will make less revenue from monitoring the minor roads instead of motorways, they will actually save more lives!!! Anyone would think that revenue was the main objective of road safety campaigns!!!!!!!
