And a Focus with an Avis sticker.

Also no lights in the bumpers and had tax and insurance disc holders. Sneaky.

 

They're most likely detectives neil , my neighbour had a mondeo with ashley motors on the plate , no lights on the bumperts and all the flowers on the screen n he's a detective

 

Detectives would hardly be doing traffic duties!

If they are they shouldn't be! the fuckers should be out chasing the lads with guns and drugs!

 

I seen a detective one morning nailin some idiot flat out up the bus lane , he was in a 07 A6 2.0 TDI , black and the same description as the cars above. This guy was deffo not traffic corps he just had to do this fcuker , dont blame him i would have done the same myself as this guy was a nut job

 

The 5-door corolla is the new mondeo btw. TBH... the unmarked ones seem to be a bit more lenient than the others. I was going X in a Y limit late one night on a pretty empty, wide and safe road and pulled up to the lights only to notice that the car that pulled up right behind me was an unmarked garda car. He surely would have known my speed.

I have two phones, one for work, the other is my own. I was talking to my girlfriend on my own phone through the hands free kit in the van(ck-7w) while holding my other phone in my hand.

Another thing on Mondeo's is the middle brake light, middle bulb not working and is the blue one instead.

 

there is a black mondeo a light blue one and a silver one in portlaoise!! also have a red focus a navy vectra silver avensis and a black landcruiser with tinted windows! only seen this once so could be some other part of the guards! thats all ive seen around this last while!!! all dublin reg 2!!

 

thers a 5 series on the rosslare road a lot of the tim,a 4 dr red corolla around passage/dunmore,and 2 transit connects(one red,one black)in waterford city.was behind the red one and copped the luminous jacket with garda on it hangin up in the back.all d reg's,all ariels down the middle of the roof,except the 5 series.it has no led's just red and blue lights in the grill!

The black Landcruiser is an ERU vehicle, they have a couple of them, also have a black Isuzu Trooper V6 and a Red Mondeo 2.5 V6 Zetec-S with black windows.

ya use to have one of dem red mondeos around here aswell hasn't been around in ages!! also a silver bmw around portlaoise as well tith lights behind the grill!! wasnt 2 impressed when i flashed him down 1 day to tell him about a truck broke down in da middle of town!!!

Some of those BMW's are not unmarked Garda cars. A lot of them are fast response medical vehicles driven by doctors. As far as I know the only BMW's the Gardai have are 5 series escort vehicles for the Taoiseasch and the president and they're fitted out with LED strobes in the headlights, tail lights and behind the grille. Of course the Taoiseach's car and all ministerial vehicles are Garda vehicles with Garda drivers and are fitted with LED strobes and sirens.

 

The guards in Portlaoise most definitely have a silver 318i. I have seen it around loads of times.
