[PD150]

I know we covered this before on vage.ie(not for the Touareg though) but seen as I have no access I was wondering what are the options for the 2.5TDI (R5) engine in the Touareg?

well when remapping its about 35% bhp and 45% torque you can go more but if the engine takes it thats another thing

Can a normal tuning box be used for this engine?

have you any pics of the new Touareg PD150 its sound a great spec, im not the biggest fan of the styling of these jeeps but none the less there a fine example, something different to the X5

Yeah you can get tuning boxes for these. I remember reading an article on the v10 TDI and they used 2 tuning boxes on that! The R5 is half a v10 engine by the way.

One of our customers has one fitted to his Toureg. Makes a huge difference.

No pics as yet as I will not be getting it until week 6 of the year

, they are something different to the norm thats what I like about them, I was looking at 3 series Bmw and Saabs and A4's but I thought it would be different, and there is no BIK on it either

The R5 with all the extras I wanted is all my budget would go, I could have went for the 3.0V6TDI, but it would of been bog standard, no 18's no leather, why do that when you can get a tuning box
