Things I done this weekend:

Collected my G60 off of Ronan
Drove from Killarney to Wexford at 40mph with said car on transporter
Seen a Golf Rallye in the flesh for the first time
Got raging wood when I heard the charger on Ronan's car
Dreamt all weekend of my car sounding like that someday
Got pissed off when I couldn't go to the Portlois meet
Got depressed when I got a call from Glenn telling me the laugh that was been had at meet
Tried to change oil LED on dash clocks, couldn't, so fcuked said clocks across the garage and went home

Well that was my weekend

PS. Anyone got a set of clocks for an 89' mark 2

Are the clocks in shite?

It's handy enough to change the leds in them I've done a few before.

OK George maybe I over emphasised that I threw them at the wall...maybe just lobbed them onto the bench
they are not damaged (as far as I know they are not...as I took them apart) But saying that I still can't remove the old led.
Any hints??

I can't actually remember how I removed them, it's a while since I did it but it's not hard I remember that much.

Do they not just pull out?

I can't really remember how they come out. I have an old set of clocks at home I'll have a look at them at the weekend.

Good man George.
Is there any difference between the single connection clocks to my double? LED wise
I think they just pull out Brian. The LEDs are probably common...
you prise off the little cover over the led's, watch what way the old one comes out as they only work one way
Brian, I know how you feel. But in all fairness I usually shout. People say that it won't make you feel better, it feckin does.

Job on saturday, plugs in an sti legacey with coil packs, pulled my hair out, well the few bit that are left.

John
Is yours the twin plug type cluster Brian?

If so I have a set of clocks to suit

No bother. I thought yours was the single plug type.
