Seen it on a few other forums and I thought it would work well in here.

So what messing did you get up to with your cars today??
I was messing about rolling the arches, hopefully it'll help in getting the new rims underneath the car, oh and fitted my new steering wheel and boss today, VERY happy with that

I looked at it in disgust of the shameful heap that it is.

Washed the cars with main emphasis on arches etc after the salted roads.

x2, Ive never driven a car home so slow over the snow on our street in my life!, and quicky service. plugs, air/fuel filters. Oil change next week once it gets threw the fuel additive. Its nicely tucked away in the garage now til the snow stops.

Put 10coats of Wax on my wheels after getting them in some sort of presentable state!

Washed the car, discovered more marks in the paint. Very happy with it tho' overall savage beading this morning.

Took off the expansion tank to find a leak. Found it. More money.

Investigated changing a clutch master cylinder on the passat, should be doable...

Great Idea for a thread BTW

Don't worry, it's been in a garage all winter. I just put it somewhere else so it's not in the way.

On hold for a while, I won't have any time to work on it so it's packed away until later in the year.

What I changed today on the bemmer
-rocker cover gasket
-spark plugs gaskets
-rocker cover/head oil channel seal
-rocker cover bolt seals
-air flow meter rubber boot
-bonnet badge
-spark plugs

Had a bit of craic as well when a bit of plastic clip broke off and fell into oil channel in the head, thankfully it got stuck there and couple of hours later I had it out haha , Super glue and bit of cable FTW !!!

Up early this morning and gave the car the works. Detar, clay, body and wheels. Lashed on the werkstat kit and poorboys on the wheels and exhaust. After about 6 hours, stood back, admired, took a few photo's. Tried to get circulation back in fingers. Drove to kildare and now its in shite again. Ah well at least it looked nice and clean for a while
