After selling the 16v, I decided that I wanted a 6n2 gti!

Its 2001 and was standard when I got it, didnt want one with any mods as I wanted to do my own thing.

I ordered coilovers from Philj on clubpolo straight away, along with a BMC CDA induction. Also had a set of Borbet Ts in the shed as I knew when I bought them that they would come in handy!!

Have plans but lack of funds means Ive to sit tight for now!

All comments welcomed

Absolutely love them, a really cool car

the best lookin polo and hatchback ever made imo. I had a black 1L lowered 60mm, a set of 15" asa's and a remus twin oval for my first car and it was the biggest mistake I ever made selling it. I would'nt change the exterior one bit (maybe german plates). I'd love to get a spin in a gti one to see what there like to go, I'm told there a little rocket. Best of luck with her and keep us posted on any mods

That looks serious (and I'm in no way a fan of polo's)
Love the gti and it's sitting just perfectly.

I'll e looking out for it around when I'm in sligo town!

For once I can't think of anything I'd really change on the exterior, which is a change! Any engine plans?

Well a full stainless would be top of the list me thinks.. Honestly I think I'd have too many idea's!

Although a new age g40 would be cool I think

Depends on what way you want to go? keep it N/A or a little bit of forced induction?

Saw 2 or 3 20vt conversions on Clubpolo...if only

I heard your old polo had some sound off it alright,

To be honest I think a 20vt while nice isn't what I'd do.. If it were a normal 6n2 then why not but when you pay for a gti it seems kinda silly to me.

I think either a supercharger or the cams and a port+polish.. I'd like ITB's too but then I don't know where to stop.
A strut brace maybe or some polybushes could be worth looking into but I'm sure the handling is brilliant as is anyways!

Thanks for the comments.

@ Lilvwgirlracer: Thanks Kate, had the borbets off for a few days but must throw them on again!

@ eoghanroe: Where I live, its not really driveable until you get to the main road. The sump has being getting some smacks! But ya get that!!

@ conord: Wouldnt be doing a conversion now anyway, have taken Brians advice on board! You have got me thinking now bout the cream...would look the bizz!!

@ Brian47: Appreciate that mate. You could be regretting saying that in time to come, I'll have your head wrecked

By the way, where do ya live?

@ KEpolo: Delighted I held on to the Ts, suit the car quite well IMO. Im vey happy with the suspension kit, especially as it didnt burn a hole in me pocket!
