golf box won't fit, fuel tank and lines are fine, petrol gearbox in the van is fine if it's a 5 speed but you will need to change the bellhousing or just swap in the turf burning gearbox completely , turf burning throttle cable needed along with all the wiring for the engine bay including the glow plug circuit and relay, engine mount bars are different, basically you will need everything from the turf burning van engine bay for the easiest swap, battery needs to be moved to the engine bay too and all the waterpipes for the turf burning needed( engine bay only )

If your friend is comtemplating a change from petrol to diesel using a Golf engine he will need the following

Fuel tank
Fuel lines
Throttle cable
Cold start cable/tube/handle
diesel Radiator/hoses/auxillary pump
Engine hanger bars/block brackets/mounts
Oil pump/sump/dip stick
Manifold/turbo/exhaust system
Engine wiring loom/relay
Bell housing..... and a gearbox depending on the box he already has

plus all the nuts and bolts ........

T25's work well with the AAZ or 1Z TDi
