Hang on now lads, off ye're high horse, "boo" and "coo" are two completely different noises.
So, for "boo", I'd recommend a full milltek exhaust system, that's what's on my pd130, nice deep tone under hard acceleration, but no pigeon noises

farley I cant wait for the lets lower the car as low as we can phase dies out and when it comes to doing up a car all you do is put a shocking pair of alloys on the car and then lower it and that bonnet bra on the front of the bora is absolutely shocking

I know very little about cars but what I do know is that I couldnt care less what anyone thinks of my car, once I like it and from looking at your cars, ye either just do what every one else does or else ye do these things because thats what you want to do.

He didnt ask you for your opinions on whether he should do it or not, he asked for info on how to do it, he posted it in the technical info forum so why dont ye keep your opinions to yourselves and actually answer what he asked

Its so annoying when you ask a question and everyone starts giving opinions and telling you what you should be doing instead of just answering the question.

Jerry if you want a few people you can PM and they will actually answer the question and explain to you the pro's and con's of doing what you asked then PM me and I will tell you who would probably be best to contact and these lads helped me after I got the same response, hopefully that will be more help to you !

 

i am inclined to agree with ya here teddy.
i have been a member here since 2010, but really only started using it a bit lately, after initially bein very impressed with the forum, after posting some comments and asking for some help and advice it seems very disappointing.

there seems to be a bit of an inner circle gang here that have this ideas and opinions, if ya don't go along with it, then you are an outcast. i hope i am wrong in sayin this, but it is the perception i am gettin from it all.

i think if the chap wants to do this to his car,who as we to stand up and tell him what he is doing is wrong. at the end of the day its all now to personal taste.

 

@teddybyrne2008 I really couldn't care who liked my bora and who didn't everyone has there own tastes and opinions, I hate the hole booo/choo thing but if that's what he wants to do sure that's his choice but I'm entitled to my opinion just the way you are about my bora, it's not a little click going on here a lot of people can't stand this modification if you want to call it that and there has been so many dumb threads about this subject up ever over the last year and people just get sick of them but its each to there own if every car was the same the cars scene would be no fun but for me in against this but his car and the end of it all

Its actually sad that you went to the bother of checking all our cars to nitpick.
As for my car, the plate is cool, and i haven't had any negative feedback until you, but that doesn't count as you are just trying to prove your point. Anyone with a bit of taste thinks that boo is shite, take that how you like

i personally like the boo and when i have my passat up and going i be doing it e didnt ask for a opinion e asked for advice its all a bit childish y would you put down a persons car infront of them dats a form of bullying just give da man a bit of advice

I just put a whole bag of spuds up the exhaust of my SDI and it wont choo, please help me?? Am i cutting them wrong??

Did you cut the spud in half length ways? If you did that's were you went wrong they have to be cut in half the other way hope this helps

I think you get my point, he probably doesnt care who likes it either but he was asking for help on it rather than opinions. I know a lot of people dont like it, I wouldnt be a fan of it either but its so annoying when you ask a question and all you get is abuse and all you want is a bit of advice
