QUOTE (kvw @ Mar 9 2008, 12:34 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>great seeing kieran O'Neill at his mentalist best in the Kadett Coupe

Did you ever see the footage of him on the start of the mols gap stage, flowing right and left hander uphill and there's Kieran brawd sideways through both of them..........Legend!!
I had the pleasure of doing the rally of 1000 entries 2 years ago and kieran was doing his level best to entertain the crowds.........and he did just that, between himself and Maurice moffett the 2 best entertainers in the country i would say.

went up against him on the west cork a few years ago, nice fella, good craic talking to him at stage starts and controls etc.

we had just gone onto 15's on the escort with bigger brakes and all the rest, he still had 13's on, he said "13's are good enough for Schumacher, good enough for me!"

and the rubbish tyres he had on!, yokes you'd see on a silage pit.

one of the lads in our club was on the notes with him, anywhere there was a crowd the fun would start.

I was thinking you were involved in rallying, were you sitting on or is it your own car. if yee were running 15's she must be a brave yoke.

I can just imagine him coming out with something like that alright

That car could tell tails.

The banter on the start lines does be wild craic, i did deputy stage commander for donegal harvest.........needless to say there was wild craic with the mental donegal boys, every 2nd man looking for a minute gap.......
