Simon it's not coming from the blades. It's coming from below the arm of the blade. I currently have bosch blades and there's plenty of water and solution in the bottle.

Take out the wiper mechanism and clean and regrease all the pivots and surfaces. The grease goes hard and the surface goes rusty.
The wipers and scuttle panel will have to come off but that's easy enough.
