There were a few people asking for a spotted thread, so here you go.

Please post the following info.

Location.
Road name/number if possible.
Speed limit.
Make/Model/Colour of van.
Date/Time.

The above info would be a good help.

So get spotting

I think the plan vis that these vans are now going to be marked like the pic below, all parto f the mis-information surrounding these vans thanks to the way the government handled the who thing!

The are also all KY registered.

Someone posted on Octane they ARE on motorways on flyovers taking pictures from the side.. I would take the map with a pinch of salt. These will end up on the usual easy places to catch people.

Twice seen a white (unmarked) 10KY van on the Dublin Rd Drogheda at 6.20 am (last week) and 10.30am this week an the left hand side of the road after the Glenside hotel heading away from Drogheda towards the M1. Speed limit on that stretch is 80kph.
So much for their markings. Plus its a wide road with no accidents

There's one parked up on the N2 between Carrickmacross and Castleblayney at Annalitten (about 3-4 mls from blayney).
I just marked it on Trapster. It's a KK reg iveco van with the markings on it. These yokes could generate enough dosh that the IMF wouldn't have to bother bailing us out!

Location. Pulled into the left hand side of the road on a straight stretch where there is a bit of a lay-by on the N7 between Roscrea and the B.S.S garage before Ballaghmore Castle.

Speed limit is 100kph but was well below that with the traffic last night.

Linky to location on google maps

Was a white van, think a transit or similar. Was half past 7 on the 19/11.

Those stickers on the van that look like they are reflective arent either

I know both of those stretches of roads well ^ and they're not even remotely what you would call black spots

QUOTE (mini-mayhem @ Nov 20 2010, 04:53 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>how come these vans do not have the roof vents that were pointed out in earlier topics??

Some have the vents, some dont. Any that I have seen have been KY reg, both 09 and 10.
It there was a Garda checkpoint half a mile before these vans, warning of their presence, my missus would still get done.

I've been going out the Sligo To Collooney where one was suppose to be parked up for the last 3 days.

This was all at 11am when i was heading out.

So i still havent seen one.
Im Heading Derry at the start of December so i'll be meeting a few on the way up.

One was outside the primary school in ballyclough limerick thursday evening. Forgot to take pictures - no markings at all. Parents got caught speeding and as the van was on "school property" there is up roar about it. Meeting on monday i think we should all go and throw a few fucks around the place

Came across the one outside flancare park that micky32 posted pics up, bro driving, only for we were stuck in traffic he'd be fk'ed. A very sneaky colour, not as obvious as they say. a very 'quick' road, straight for a couple of miles
