...could nearly go in the shite talk this...
...now we are into 'recessionary' times you see the odd bargain coming up for sale, but a place to put it is a "big hassle", even if the money is there, you've jammed VW's everythwere, Like in my case, so there is no room for another, even if it is a 'light refurb', if there is such a thing, but in any case there is no room for it... I 'rent space' (a lock up), but I dont see the rates coming down....

...I am guilty of the 'death by consaw' of at least 3 vags, that if I was sweedish or something, I could have dealt with the rust issues, instead Ive chopped them up with the consaw, as I hadnt the space, and I/we only took what was useful....
...who else has space issues, either full up like me with vags, or has a 'empty spot (or two) on the driveway that hes hoping to fill....

Space is always an issue, I've 2 cars in the shed I need rid off and have another 3 sitting around the house getting odd bits of work done for the nct but the owners will be back for them soon I hope..

One being collected next week and the other will be up here pretty soon as I need the space for a vag (or 3

) This recession is full of deals and I'm clearing space in preparation for when things really hit rock bottom

I'm sure I'm not alone though?

well as much as i'd love to pick up a few things, the combo of not having space as its my parents house that i'd be storing anything, a project already under go, no money going into the recession and even less now, i'm afraid i wont be picking up much on the way out.

I live above our old car sales showrrom and it is full of our own personal cars.

At the minute i have the lancia, the cabrio 19, the R5 and the donor megane in there. Theres also a random 97 omega along with my brothers corrado, my mothers scenic and my da's laguna.

Behind that theres another little building which houses the lotus carlton and the sister in laws cooper s.

On the street is my red 19 16v and the brothers 96 starlet runaround.

Out the back is the leons parking space. The brothers vitara, his clio and a random 92 starlet and bag of shite primera.

It was going fine until i arrived home with the megane and upset teh balance

Oh and even the actual workshop is cluttered by the golf vr6, escort cosworth and mg zs owned by the brothers. (3 brothers, 1 each. Not between them!)

Ummm no. The golf and escort are down the road. The escort has no engine atm as it dropped a valve. The golf is under going a track car conversion. Supercharged btw

Oh and the ZS runs a turbo K series, chargecooler and emerald ecu.

And the corrado is 4wd

We like cars

Oh God I need a shed ! In a semi-D that has mk5 gti, mk2 g60 rhd , mk2 driver ,mk2 project and a transporter syncro van all fighting for space with herselfs f***ing pot plants and shrubs ! She actually decided the other day that the project car would be a good place to put her plants as we dont have a greenhouse

. ( I mean progress is slow but come on !!!!!) All boils down to the fact that one of them has to go ......... Goodbye Missus Greenfinger !

I think that anyone in a more rural place that space isn't much of an issue, i don't know how some of you guys can do it working on the cars on the drive way, no way i could do that from what im used to.
For me because i live in the country and from farming background space isn't to much of a problem,
I have the passat and van at my home house, have 5 yokes in the shed at the new house and im lucky enough to have the use of an 8 bay shed/ workshop at the farm for storing the other 5.

But i honestly couldn't see me having any interest in working on cars if i had to work in a poky wee shed or on the driveway, hats off to the guys that do coz that is hard work!

Theres not much to see but sure the kettles never far off the boil

School = cool. I do that alot, write a word that sounds the same but is completely different. Some form of dyslexia or something i imagine

Corrado is a 92 g60 with rallye drivetrain. TEC rs g60, eurospec head, cam and custom front mount.

Maybe an open day is needed?

The corrado has been lying up for years. The insurance disc in it is from 1999... Its abot 85% complete. Needs a good going over to be finished

Chance would be a fine thing, i've left my red 19 on the street hopin it'll either be stolen or written off for me!

I've had 2 cars broke up out there by drunk drivers. One was my clio 172 3 days after i got it!

Yeah his car was going nowhere! I did have pictures of the clio but not sure where they went. It was a good bit shorter

I still end up with the odd driveway fix; TBH I am actually running out of available axle stands for 'various projects' which must be a sign... even if you live 'rual' or out of the sticks, the 'unslightlyness' of an old car is often an issue...understanding loved ones/relatives is also 'beneficial'...
