imo they should have waited untill after the world cup to see what managers are available, because there is
no real rush, and after most world cups international managers move on after doing as much as they can with there teams, Gus Hiddink (excuse the spelling) would have been my first choise, and then mabey Terry Venebals but never in a million years would i give it to a man with little or none experience except for a few weeks over coventry,
i hope im wrong because he was a great player for ireland and bobby seems like a nice man, best of luck to them
