I'm trying to get silver roof bars over from the States for the Touareg but the lad tried DHL/FedEx and one other company, they were looking for $400 to ship them to Ireland, surely there is a cheaper way around this, maybe post with insurance I dont know, any help would be great.

dave, USPS us postal service, they are ususally not too expencive but it could take 4 weeks to arrive.
