<{POST_SNAPBACK}>For charity? Im a tight git, so was thinkin as you only have to give 17% of your takings or something, that you could fund the trip and give wot ever is left to charity..........
Nah I hadnt really thought of that, but I had been thinking of the costs, Ferry to uk, then to france and all the fuel, hotels, and fuel home, even though the motors cheap, the trip wont be.
Alot of the teams are doing it for charity, who are you thinking of doing it for?
i wanna stay a day or 2 in spain b4 headin home!
Your from Cork, where will you sail from? I'd sail from Rosslare I think or is there a Cork to Calais sailing?
Think I'll be scanning the Bargain buys in trader for the next few months!
Merc 190, cosworth stylee!!! Hmmmm Volvos are soooo cheap but can I bring myself to buy one? Old Granadas? Cant do Modern Fords though!
we might do it for child aid (i think it's called). noy sure of this
yet. we haven't made up our minds about anything yet as i'm off on
holidays saturday for a week. when i'm back we'll sit down for a "team"
meeting and sort out these things.
we will probably have to sail from rosslare too. no ferry to calais that
i know of.
i just heard about a volvo 850. needs an air-bag but meant to be running
well. depends on money and cost of air bag. might give trynors a call
later. mind you, as u said, a volvo. not sure if i could drive it.
merc 190 cossie would be a nice yoke. cannot imagine that a cheap one of
them would make it there.
my idealy yoke is a bmw 525 or bigger with air con. tall order but there
has to be cheap ones up north or in england. do you know of any good web
sites for looking for cars in england or up north?
