It is a fabulous looking motor and if i had to go for the
bigger bus, but i would prefer the saloon, although i
would be more than happy with either

RS4 Avant all the way for me too, the estate wins hands down over the saloon any day.

Although I have a thing for estates, so that could have something to do with it

Love the R36 Passat estate too

I would much rather have the saloon. I don't really get this whole estates are cool thing at all....

its cos you've never owned one (have you?)

they're the job, once you've had one, you'll never go back.

i really dont get the point of saloons myself, large boots with tiny openings, why bother

Geo, it's not because I think estates are cool, I just like the lines of the car and it just so happens to be an estate.

Avant looks the dogs dangles even in non-RS form.

That RS6 however is seriously seriously tasty.

actually, does the RS6 look like a stretched S3 ?

Looks the business either way.....

Yep George, I am actually with Mike on this one, its nothing to do with them being cool, in fact I dont see estates as being cool.

Its more to do with the lines of the estates, to me overall I generally prefer how most estates look compared to their saloon counterparts. Add the practicality of the load lugging capability into the mix and you have to be on to a winner.

Sh1te, you've found my closet obsession
Image

Nah, I wont agree with you on the SUV's an estate is closer to a car in the way it drives, lower centre of gravity so it wouldnt roll like a boat in the corners (those range rover sports, overfinch conversions and the R50 etc are exceptions to this obviously, but whats the point in a 4x4 that cant even go off road???)

I would take either in the new RS4, Avant or 4dr(Avant would be my fav though), but my personal fav is the 2003 RS6, I'm not gone on the new RS6, it looks too stretched out, even if it has that Lambo V10 engine
