This machine is starting to appeal to me. Must take on for a spin when they arrive in the country. When is that does anyone know?

They are starting to grow on me alright, although I would think a more subtle spoiler on the rear boot, like a little lip spoiler would suit it more.
I really like that big chunky steering wheel too

Agree with what has already been said, including that it is a good looking car. The front looks a little TOO Fabia, but perhaps that's not so bad.

Dealers are starting to get them from 1st or 2nd Week in January.... Book your test drive!

I am only going for a test drive. Not buying at the moment. Jeeze my own yoke is only 7 months old

The TDI 170 will arrive in the latter half of 06. I think it would be a more feasible option for the type of driving that I am doing now.

Spec of the Irish market version is impressive compared to UK. Dual zone climate, cruise control, electric rear windows, 18s for less than 500 euro extra . Getting very fupping tempting now.

Spoke with a sound lad in MDL today and they reckon 30K should buy one straight from a dealer. A remap and you would have a very quick understated car for reasonable money in hot hatch/ quick saloon terms.

So Gaff and Bpm have ye ordered yet???

Myself and Gaff took the new RS for a test drive today. Lets put it this way..... Gaff signed the dotted line when we eventually got him out of the demo car...

Looking at that RS makes it very appealing compared to the Audi, with the audi costing more!

It looks well with the other 2 RSs parked beside it.

Must stop by Pheonix next week for a closer look
