Nothing particually proven out of it's use, but I've a K&N in the van, it's washable and proven higher airflow, guaranteed for a bazillion miles, long time between cleaning required

 

ITG-highly recomended and less oil than the k&n

I second the ITG Mark. Very happy with mine over the last year.

I have an ITG cone filter on the RS and its grand. I also had a Green Cotton Panel filter and the performance increase over the standard air filter was great
