Center cap came today and just my luck, to f*ckin big

Looks like I'll just have to give him the wheel and make a set up from that, at least the center cap that came will give him an idea of what I want!

Got a new crank sensor for it today, must fit it during the week.

Hope to order some shiny bits from Felgenfuchs during the week aswell

I'll probably just give the lad a wheel and let him work away because I'll be going away for a month in a couple of weeks and he'll have plenty of time to get it done.

Just got some stainless lockwire for the exhaust wrap, once its wrapped I'll try and fit it on thursday as I have the day off.

Crankshaft sensor and genuine thermostsat fitted and wrapped the manifold, hopefully get that fitted tomorrow if I have time.

Must adjust gear linkage aswell, gearshift is cat!

The ball part of the linkage fell off, does anyone know if this is a main dealer part or what, or even better anyone have a spare one in Cork?

Its the one outside next to the shift tower, not the one under the lever.

Finally sourced new g60 arches, must get a few quotes for paint when I get back from sea.

Got a tool for adjusting the gear linkage, have some forever black on the way aswell to sort out the trim after I get it painted.

Boring update time, just ordered the clips and strips for mounting the sill covers.

Back from sea next friday until december so hopefully make some progress with it during that time!

Lots of new stainless shiny stuff on the way from Felgen-fuchs as we speak

Have nearly all the trim needed for after the respray except for the rear screen surround, a decent standard rear spoiler and a 16v beesting aerial.

Getting there slowly but surely!

Adjusted the gear linkage tonight, should have done it ages ago, feels 10 times better.

While I was at it I saw one of my power steering pipes is leaking, so I must pick one of them up.

The threads for holding in the speedo cable are goosed aswell, so I'm going to have to drill and tap that oversize.

Thinking of getting the wheel centers done in crackle black if I can find someone local to do it, but having a hard time trying to figure out wether or not it will tie in with the rest of the car?

Should also mention that if anyone is getting stuff from Kirsten at Felgenfuchs, be sure and ask for a discount, she knocked €65 off my stuff which I thought was pretty decent, especially with the way things are these days!
