good luck with the project. i've seen/driven a lot worse than that. cut it all out, weld in new bits, paint with zinc182, seal it and finally paint it. have you looked underneath the car???

yeah going to be doing that tomorrow, god loves fas, all the equipment for free,

gonna treat any rust with that stuff out of halfords ''kurust'' then weld in new panels and body schultz the inside and out.

yeah the beams could all do with a rub from the grinding wheel(abrasive) and schultz also

inner and outer arches to be treated this week also, there not too bad

pat.

yeah gonna do that if the floor is fuc**d, otherwise just patch it up and schultz, i have a fire blanket for the dash and thick brown paper for the rest of the interior(whats left of it)

sure i havemost of the work done now and its a campaign model, im doing it in fas so its only costing me time, a clean shell is how much and then changing EVERYTHING else over is a lot more work i would think?

QUOTE (Bohall @ May 15 2008, 09:11 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>With that amount of rust i'd personally not persue the repairs on the shell.....I'm sure other lads will agree with me on this.

bit late for that now haha most of it done along with a bit of flushing also
