If you want to make a killing.. bring over a few 6 packs of Tayto. When I was watching the last World Cup qualifier in Oct in an Irish bar in Sydney, they were charging about €3 for a packet as they brought them in especially!

Hmmm.. you have me thing there now Mark. Although it'd take a lot of Tayto to try and make it pay for the trip

As for the Holdens... I thought GM was frowned upon here

Not car related but you have to go to Star City, the casino, not far from Darling Harbour.

If your going to Aus and looking for car shows/cars in general Melbourne is where the petrol heads are.

Sydney is for show - lots of debagged A4 1.8Ts going around with RS bits ! Melbourne is more - RS Audis and M beemers debagged.

Hang out on georges st in Sydney on a fri/sat night for a laugh. Its like a modified car show in the middle of the city how low can your motor go and how big a wagon wheel can you fit on your civic type R. Its very funny and very noisy
it's a big scene in Sydney the lebs have the worst rep for it.

If you want to make some easy cash bring over a VW orrado
you buy a dozen holdens for the money you'd get for a good VR corrado.

I remember it was the same way with cossie's in the late 80's early 90's. You could make a small fortune on them.

Yeh any of the main streets are full of modded cars on Fri and Sat nights.

Darling Harbour is VERY touristy that's the only thing so try and check out a bit more of the place. I was told I couldn't be served anymore drink in a bar on Darling Harbour as I had spent about $350 on food and drink, none of us were drunk at all but a group of us were just enjoying ourselves.. they have a few stupid laws on alcohol.
